Your hotel room is on the master list to be paid by the pageant and you will need to provide your own credit/debit card for incidentals. If you park a car, charge the $20/night self-parking in the hotel deck to your room and it will be paid by the pageant. Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. but you may be able to check in early. Check out is 11:00 a.m. If you are flying, you will be reimbursed for a shuttle or Uber/Lyft, (the hotel has told us that either options runs between $13 and $22 for a ride from the Indianapolis airport to the Marriott Downtown.)
Continental breakfast, coffee, and snacks will be available daily in our staff room (the Albany room), which is very close to the ballroom.
$40 per working day will be added to your paycheck to compensate you for lunch and dinner each day. You do not have to provide meal receipts as this reimbursement is handled as a per diem stipend. The hotel has lots of dining options including a grab and go market and a Starbucks for quick service - as well as the main restaurant, Conner's, which offers appetizers, sandwiches and salads, as well as entrees starting from $12.
Circle Centre Mall is also accessible via skywalk with Subway, Taco Bell, P.F. Chang's, Yard House, Auntie Anne's, and many more options.
A Staff Contact List will be included in your folder and we will use our cell phones instead of radios for communication during pageant weekend.
Your staff folder will include a check for your pay and your $40 per day meal stipend
If you need to be reimbursed for mileage, airport parking, luggage, shuttle, Uber, etc. please use the link and an expense reimbursement check will be mailed to you the week after the pageant. If you prefer to turn in a written form, blanks will be available in the staff room.
Each year, staff members must sign a Non-Disclosure Form. Please click the link below to read and sign the NDA digitally.
A blank W-9 form will be in your staff packet for you to complete and turn in at the pageant if we do not already have one on file for this year.
